Platform Engineer – Build CI/CD Pipelines in Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines that support our data engineering and data science teams. You will create tools and self‑service capabilities that enable data scientists to deploy and manage their applications with minimal manual effort.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate robust CI/CD pipelines for data‑focused workloads.
• Automate operational processes and develop self‑service portals for end‑users.
• Ensure platform security, monitor for vulnerabilities, and maintain high availability.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerised applications.
• Build, optimise and cost‑manage Azure cloud resources.
• Implement observability solutions, including monitoring and logging.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Continuously evaluate emerging DevOps practices and drive improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles.
• Strong understanding of automation, self‑service, and security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and guide junior team members.
