Post Primary Teacher – Learning Support

About the role

The Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board is seeking a qualified Post Primary Teacher to provide learning support at Kennedy College, Co. Wexford. The role involves delivering the secondary curriculum while ensuring that all learners receive the support they need to succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Educate students in accordance with the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Conduct.
• Provide learning support and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
• Deliver the post‑primary curriculum across designated subject areas.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop inclusive learning strategies.
• Participate in the WWETB recruitment panel for temporary or permanent vacancies as required.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with appropriate post‑primary teaching credentials.
• Registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland.
• Experience in delivering learning support in a secondary school setting.
• Commitment to professional conduct and continuous development.
