Post Primary Teacher – Learning Support

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Post Primary Teacher to provide learning support at Kennedy College in County Wexford. The successful candidate will deliver curriculum instruction in line with the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Conduct and offer targeted support to students who need additional assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons across the assigned subject areas while adhering to national curriculum standards.
• Identify students requiring learning support and implement individualized strategies to improve their academic progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and communicate progress to parents and senior staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive classroom practices and contribute to whole‑school improvement initiatives.
• Participate in a recruitment panel that may fill temporary or permanent vacancies during the school year.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification and registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland.
• Demonstrated experience in secondary‑level teaching and learning support.
