Principal Systems Engineer – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Principal/Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership on the development of complex regulated products. The role will drive systems architecture, requirements development, integration, verification, validation, and risk management throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and review system architecture, requirements, and interfaces.
• Lead systems engineering activities including requirements management, integration, verification, and validation.
• Develop and review specifications, test methods, and technical documentation.
• Support planning and execution of system‑level testing and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive technical decisions and project delivery.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks, including hazard analysis and FMEA.
• Support product integration, configuration management, and issue resolution.
• Mentor engineers and promote systems engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience developing complex regulated products.
• Strong systems engineering background covering requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and validation.
• Proven ability to develop system‑level requirements and test strategies.
• Experience working across hardware, software, and mechanical domains.
