Process Integration Engineer

About the role

Intel Ireland’s Yield Team is seeking a Process Integration Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence for its cutting‑edge semiconductor technologies. You will work across multiple engineering groups to optimise processes, improve yield and ensure high‑volume production quality.

Key responsibilities

• Execute experiments to characterise processes and integrate improvements into high‑volume manufacturing.
• Identify parametric signals, lead cross‑functional teams to analyse issues and close root‑cause loops.
• Resolve process integration challenges using root‑cause analysis and collaborative problem‑solving with Product Engineering, Device, Defect Reduction and Module Engineering.
• Develop and lead engineering projects aimed at yield, quality, performance gains and cost reduction.
• Leverage statistical data analysis to detect manufacturing issues and devise data‑driven corrective actions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through rigorous implementation and testing strategies.
• Assist customers by containing, de‑risking and communicating quality events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8) in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as JMP, MATLAB or Python.
• Demonstrated experience in project execution, design of experiments (DOE) and process improvement.
• Strong technical expertise, leadership abilities and self‑driven attitude in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: Master’s or PhD and knowledge of device physics and high‑volume semiconductor production.
