About the role
Quinn Downes Group is looking for a Procurement Administrator to support the delivery of mechanical services projects across Ireland and abroad. You will manage the end‑to‑end procurement process, ensuring materials arrive on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Procure project materials, monitor budgets and delivery schedules.
- Manage the procure‑to‑pay cycle from sourcing to invoice clearance.
- Identify new suppliers and recommend sourcing strategies.
- Reallocate excess materials and maintain communication with suppliers and internal teams.
- Track plant and equipment orders using the in‑house system.
- Support continuous‑improvement and LEAN initiatives.
- Maintain the Procurement SharePoint site with up‑to‑date information.
- Assist with ad‑hoc procurement projects and perform general administrative tasks.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar procurement role.
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
- Strong organisational, time‑management and communication abilities.
- Third‑level qualification in a related discipline is advantageous.
Required skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience using SharePoint for document management.
