Product Data Analyst II

About the role

F5 is looking for a Product Data Analyst II to act as the bridge between Product Management, Engineering, and the Data Group. You will dive into product telemetry and logs to decode user behavior and help shape the future of our cybersecurity products.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product engineering to design data instrumentation that captures genuine user behavior, events, and outcomes.
• Translate high‑level business questions and feature requests into clear technical data requirements.
• Analyze product datasets to guide pipeline development and new feature creation, working closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Define and track core metrics and KPIs that reflect product health and performance.
• Conduct data‑quality analyses, identify gaps, and contribute to monitoring and alerting systems.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience turning data into insights, with a focus on statistical analysis, dashboarding, and data quality profiling.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to tell compelling data‑driven stories across teams.
• Familiarity with product telemetry and observability concepts.

Required skills

• SQL – ability to query large, complex datasets.
• Experience with modern data‑stack tools such as dbt, Databricks, and Tableau (nice to have).
• Understanding of version control (git) and software development lifecycle concepts.
