Production Operator

About the role

The Production Operator will join Charles River’s Rathcoole site in Dublin, supporting the safe manufacture of drug therapies. This full‑time, on‑site position involves active, physical work within a regulated environment, following strict SOPs and Good Distribution Practice.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to high standards in line with established SOPs.
• Perform all aspects of kitting, ensuring materials are prepared, labeled and packaged correctly.
• Maintain work areas in an orderly, compliant manner.
• Carry out LAL production tasks such as glassware preparation, cleaning, labeling, packaging and SAP transactions.
• Label non‑licensed products, conduct final product inspections and manage accessory product finishing.
• Prepare, maintain and distribute documentation for kitted and shipped materials.
• Ensure GDP compliance and coordinate with Planning and Logistics to meet production schedules.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by the manager or supervisor.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Computer literacy and the ability to interact appropriately at all organisational levels.
• Awareness of supply‑chain processes is advantageous.
• SAP experience is desirable but not mandatory.
