Production Planner – CVD Operations

About the role

The Planner will own end‑to‑end production and materials planning for the IETEC site at Element Six Ireland. Working closely with Operations, Procurement and Logistics, you will translate customer demand into realistic, executable production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned to demand signals and supply plans.
• Sequence production orders across work centres to optimise throughput, capacity utilisation and cycle times.
• Monitor schedule adherence and make real‑time adjustments based on operational performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain to understand demand requirements.
• Translate forecasts into executable supply plans and identify supply risks.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, WIP and consumables by running MRP signals.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Stores to resolve shortages and expedite materials.
• Manage material flow within IETEC to minimise delays and bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production planning and scheduling within an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with material requirements planning (MRP) processes.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Procurement, Logistics).
• Strong analytical mindset to monitor schedule performance and adjust plans.
