Project Engineer – Manufacturing & Pharma

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of bespoke pressure vessels and process skids for the pharma, biopharma, and food & beverage sectors. The role bridges project, production, and quality teams while liaising with suppliers and customers to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse client specifications and P&ID drawings.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure equipment meets customer expectations.
• Maintain project database and control documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and provide commissioning support.
• Assist with incoming inspection of project equipment and in‑process inspections during construction.
• Monitor project progress, report status, and manage risks to schedule and commercial objectives.
• Coordinate with automation and electrical subcontractors, walk down installations, and prepare snag lists.

Required profile

• Mechanical or Project Engineering degree, or equivalent qualified tradesperson.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a Project Engineering role.
• Experience in bio‑pharma, pharma, or aseptic process environments, preferably within an engineering design office or equipment supplier.
