Project Engineer – Renewable Heat Solutions

About the role

Pure Renewables Commercial Ireland is seeking a Project Engineer to support the design, development and delivery of commercial and industrial heat‑pump projects. You will work closely with the sales engineering team and contribute to the technical evaluation of large‑scale renewable heat solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual project layouts using CAD and optimise them for maximum value.
• Analyse data to assess resource requirements and estimate annual energy production with high‑level energy models.
• Conduct site visits before and after sales to verify suitability, gather information and ensure installations match the approved design.
• Support the preparation of sales proposals and interface with Project Management, Engineering and Operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain the integrity of the Quality Management System and adhere to OH&S and environmental reporting requirements.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering or a related discipline with at least a 2:1 grade.
• Proven experience on large‑scale construction projects, preferably in the renewable sector.
• Strong analytical ability to draw conclusions from technical data.
• Self‑motivated learner who can adapt quickly in a fast‑evolving environment.
• Honest, clear communicator who can work independently and flexibly from office or on the road.

Required skills

• CAD software proficiency.
• Energy modelling and data analysis.
