Project Manager – Construction (Clare, Limerick & Galway)

About the role

Join a leading Irish construction contractor as a Project Manager overseeing medium‑to‑large public and private projects across Clare, Limerick and Galway. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish performance and delivery criteria to meet client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain project controls and provide weekly updates to clients.
• Plan resources, including labour, materials and subcontractors.
• Lead a large multidisciplinary team to achieve project milestones.
• Monitor procurement, safety, costs and overall project progress.
• Utilise BIM and tender submission processes where applicable.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (trade background also considered).
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager with a medium or large main building contractor.
• Ability to take full responsibility for large‑scale projects and deliver within time, cost and budget.
• Reports to a Contracts Manager or Director and works closely with senior leadership.
• Experience in programming and method‑statement writing is a plus.
