Project Manager – Construction (Galway)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead multi‑million‑euro building projects for a Tier 1 contractor in the Galway region. You will be responsible for delivering projects from pre‑start through to handover in a fast‑paced, high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update project programmes using planning software.
• Manage site operations including logistics, procurement, quality and design coordination.
• Identify programme risks early and implement mitigation measures.
• Oversee BC(A)R, technical submittals and design management.
• Prepare monthly progress reports covering programme, safety, quality and financial performance.
• Lead project teams and chair site, QA and coordination meetings.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support procurement and pre‑construction activities as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale building projects.
• Excellent planning, programming and site management capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of BC(A)R, procurement and design coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office.
