Project Manager – Construction Solutions

About the role

Mercury, the European leader in construction solutions, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex engineering and construction projects across multiple sites in Ireland. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports tracking completion percentage, schedule performance, baseline variance, and costs.
• Maintain a comprehensive register of all projects and keep status information up‑to‑date.
• Ensure subcontractors are vetted, approved, and work in line with Mercury’s electrical safety rules and permitting requirements.
• Guide and support the project team, aligning expectations with project requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections to verify work conforms to scope and schedule.
• Manage contract budgets, invoicing, and report status in internal and client‑facing meetings.
• Act as the primary contact during significant events or technical escalations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar project management role.
• Professional project management qualification or relevant trade qualification.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
