Project Manager – Digital Transformation (Financial Services)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead digital transformation programmes for a leading financial services client in Dublin. The role is hybrid, requiring 2‑3 days on‑site each week, and initially runs for six months on a day‑rate contract.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, initiate and deliver end‑to‑end digital transformation projects, from definition through implementation and business adoption.
• Lead cross‑functional teams across business, operations and technology, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Engage and influence senior business and technology stakeholders, managing expectations and communication.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in close collaboration with technology teams.
• Oversee governance, risk, dependency and change management activities, ensuring compliance with Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Support business readiness, change management and user adoption initiatives for customer‑facing digital solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering digital transformation programmes within the financial services sector.
• Strong end‑to‑end project management background, preferably with PRINCE2, PMP or Agile certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
