Property Lawyer – Commercial Real Estate

About the role

William Fry LLP is seeking a Property Lawyer to join its award‑winning Property Department. Reporting to the Property Partner, you will work on high‑value commercial real estate transactions for institutional investors, private equity funds, public authorities and major retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end commercial real estate deals, including acquisitions, disposals and financings.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts, leases and ancillary documentation.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and strategic property matters.
• Lead due‑diligence processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Stay updated on market trends and legislative changes to provide proactive advice.
• Contribute to business development through thought leadership, client pitches and networking.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of excellence.

Required profile

• 3–7 years post‑qualification experience as a qualified solicitor.
• Strong academic background and excellent drafting skills.
• Commercially focused with a keen eye for detail.
• Outstanding organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• High level of initiative while working effectively as part of a team.
