QC Analyst – Pharmaceutical Laboratory

About the role

Join SGS, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, as a QC Analyst supporting pharmaceutical clients in Ireland. You will work in a GMP‑compliant laboratory, performing analytical testing on raw materials and drug substances.

Key responsibilities

• Perform GC and HPLC analyses, as well as other required analytical techniques.
• Follow validated testing procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, schedule calibrations and ensure proper inventory of consumables.
• Enter and review data in LIMS, verify results, and close out batch records.
• Document work in SOPs, methods, and analytical reports.
• Participate in investigations, deviations and continuous improvement activities.
• Support team KPIs related to productivity, on‑time testing and training.

Required profile

• Experience in a GMP environment performing pharmaceutical QC testing.
• Ability to train junior analysts and work collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
