QC Analyst – Pharmaceutical Testing

About the role
Join SGS, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, as a QC Analyst supporting pharmaceutical clients in Ireland. You will work in a GMP‑compliant laboratory, performing raw material and drug substance testing using a range of analytical techniques.
Key responsibilities
- Perform GC and HPLC analyses, as well as other required methods, following client procedures and GMP standards.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, schedule calibrations and ensure audit‑ready conditions.
- Manage inventory of consumables and reagents needed for testing.
- Enter and review data in LIMS, verify results, and generate batch reports.
- Document SOPs, methods and investigation reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train junior analysts where qualified and contribute to team performance metrics.
Required profile
- Experience in a GMP laboratory environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Ability to follow validated procedures and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
