Quality and Compliance Manager

About the role

The client, a growing electronics manufacturer in Cork, is seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to own and continuously improve the site Quality Management System. Reporting to the Quality Director, you will work autonomously, partnering with production, engineering, supply chain and customer teams to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001.
• Own all quality procedures, policies and documentation, ensuring robust document control.
• Lead management review meetings and monitor quality performance indicators.
• Manage change control, non‑conformance, CAPA, internal audit and document control processes.
• Plan and conduct internal audits; act as site representative for customer and certification audits.
• Drive root‑cause investigations, corrective actions and support new product introductions.
• Monitor quality metrics, promote continuous improvement and support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaboration skills with production, engineering and supply‑chain teams.

• ISO 9001 quality management system knowledge.
• CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) process expertise.
• Change control and non‑conformance management.
• Internal audit planning and execution.
• Lean and Six Sigma methodology familiarity.
