Quality Inspector

About the role

The Quality Inspector will be based at the Lurgan facility in County Galway, supporting product quality and health & safety compliance in a fast‑moving plastic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on raw materials and finished products.
• Carry out testing and measurement to verify compliance with internal and external specifications.
• Investigate non‑conformances and support corrective‑action implementation.
• Monitor processes, report quality trends and assist with continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support health & safety audits, toolbox talks and risk‑assessment activities.
• Maintain accurate quality and safety documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure cross‑functional alignment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering or a quality‑focused role.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 or similar quality systems, with willingness to gain further accreditations.
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures within an industrial setting.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Graduates will also be considered.
