R&D Project Manager (Temporary)

About the role

Repligen is looking for an experienced R&D Project Manager II to join its team on a 12-month temporary contract in Waterford. The role leads the development and implementation of new and customised products, mainly single-use bioprocessing equipment and solutions, managing several cross-functional product development projects from concept through commercialisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple new product and customised product development projects from concept through commercialisation.
• Develop and run project plans, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
• Manage project risks, issues and changes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate Engineering, R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Commercial teams.
• Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, prototype builds, testing and documentation.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, give regular status updates and support product transfer to manufacturing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in product development within industrial equipment, biotechnology, life sciences, medical devices or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects in a fast-changing environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of project management principles, including traditional and Agile methods.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
