Project Engineer

About the role

Regeneron, a science and innovation company developing medicines for people with serious diseases, is looking for a Project Engineer to join its Project Engineering team in Raheen, Limerick. The role contributes to a fast-growing, science-driven organisation and involves designing and managing equipment and manufacturing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and specify cGMP process equipment, piping and/or controls
• Manage small projects related to process equipment and manufacturing
• Assist in design review, site acceptance and installation of equipment
• Prepare process and instrument drawings and other related drawings
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams for manufacturing processes
• Support the validation department by preparing design documents and assisting in protocol execution
• Investigate anomalies in process equipment and control systems and implement corrective and preventative actions
• Prepare engineering evaluations and execute modification change control documentation
• Supervise mechanical, electrical and automation contractors

Required profile

• BS/BEng or higher in Chemical, Process or Mechanical engineering with 2+ years of related experience; direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment preferred
• For Senior Project Engineer: 5+ years of related experience, same degree requirement, experience preferred
• Relevant experience may substitute for education
• Excellent technical and analytical skills, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, adaptable to a fast-paced, regulated environment
