Registered Psychiatric Nurse – Roscommon

About the role

Access Healthcare is seeking qualified Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN) and Registered Nurses in Intellectual Disability (RNID) to work across a range of mental health and intellectual disability services in Roscommon. The positions offer flexible agency shifts, ongoing placements, and the chance to gain experience in acute mental health settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to patients in acute mental health and intellectual disability services.
• Conduct patient assessments, administer medication, and monitor treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support patients and families, promoting recovery and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Minimum six months post‑registration experience in Ireland.
• Strong clinical and communication abilities.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
