Remote Business Development Manager (Commercial Sales Executive)

About the role

REM Waste, a UK‑based waste management company, is expanding its commercial portfolio and needs a results‑driven Business Development Manager to secure long‑term, volume‑based contracts. This is a remote, freelance position where you will own and grow a book of medium‑to‑large commercial accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of commercial accounts in HubSpot and actively prospect new opportunities.
• Sell volume‑based contracts (fixed‑price yearly, monthly, per‑project or ad‑hoc) tailored to each customer’s needs.
• Conduct consultative assessments to match the right contract solution to each client.
• Proactively expand the account book by increasing contract volume and deepening relationships.
• Achieve contract and revenue targets without external prompting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B or commercial sales experience with a proven record of closing contracts and growing accounts.
• Strong ability to analyse customer situations and propose appropriate commercial offers.
• Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently.
• Fluent spoken English with experience in the UK market preferred.

Required skills

• HubSpot (CRM) proficiency.
