About the role
Turing is seeking experienced U.S. litigation and civil procedure professionals to help fine‑tune large language models. You will work remotely, reviewing AI‑generated answers to complex litigation scenarios and providing detailed feedback to improve model performance.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate AI responses to hypotheticals involving motions, discovery disputes, summary judgment, and trial strategy.
- Apply a structured legal rubric to assess issue spotting, procedural accuracy under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and proper use of case law and evidentiary standards.
- Identify gaps in AI reasoning related to standing, jurisdiction, burden of proof, pleading standards, and remedies.
- Provide high‑quality annotations and written feedback to refine the AI models.
- Collaborate with researchers and project managers to align evaluation standards and project goals.
Required profile
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active or inactive bar admission.
- 3+ years of U.S. civil, commercial, or appellate litigation experience.
- Strong reasoning skills in Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, evidence, and trial advocacy.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- High ethical standards; interest in AI is a plus.
