Sales Assistant – Customer-Focused Retail Role

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our store in Killinarden. The role focuses on delivering an excellent shopping experience by greeting customers with pride, passion and care, and using product knowledge to inspire purchases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring satisfaction is the top priority.
• Engage with shoppers, answer queries professionally and in line with store policy.
• Maintain store presentation by merchandising shelves and keeping all areas tidy and appealing.
• Promote and embody Centra’s brand values – Proud, Energetic, Imaginative and Community‑Based.
• Participate in new initiatives and adopt new ways of working.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize customer needs.
• Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible.
• Self‑motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Customer‑driven attitude; previous customer service experience is an advantage.
