Sales Development Representative – Remote (UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands)

About the role

GitLab is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join its Revenue Marketing team. The role is fully remote and supports target markets in the UK, Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, introducing GitLab’s DevSecOps platform and generating qualified pipeline for the sales organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound lead flow and conduct high‑level discovery conversations with target accounts.
• Meet or exceed sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets.
• Collaborate with Field and Digital Marketing teams to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging.
• Research accounts, identify key stakeholders and create multi‑touch outreach campaigns (call, email, social).
• Track activities and results in Salesforce and use Outreach.io to execute outreach sequences.
• Document processes in the GitLab handbook and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Enthusiastic and strategic mindset with a strong desire to learn GitLab’s technology.
• Ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously and work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills for high‑level discovery and relationship building.
• Collaborative attitude to work closely with marketing and sales colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Outreach.io for outbound sequencing.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM for activity tracking and reporting.
