Screening Operator – De‑flashing Parts

About the role

We are looking for a Screening Operator to ensure the quality of de‑flashed parts produced at our Leixlip facility. The role involves visual and measured inspection of parts, recording results and signalling any deviation from customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Determine part status (Accept/Reject) following procedures, package according to customer specifications and store finished product correctly.
• Perform daily reporting of production, scrap and any target‑related issues.
• Weigh parts to verify counts, set up and calibrate scales, and confirm scale accuracy.
• Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE and maintain documentation to comply with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Alert relevant personnel when measurements fall outside required tolerances.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably within a GMP setting.
• Ability to work a 4‑cycle shift roster (day/night 12‑hour shifts).
• Good verbal reasoning, numeracy and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to multitask and strong health‑and‑safety awareness.
• Basic computer literacy.
