Senior AI Vertical Mini-Series Director

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AI Vertical Mini-Series Director to lead the creation of short‑form, AI‑enhanced drama series for global mobile‑first audiences. Based in Ireland and working fully remotely, you will blend narrative craft with cutting‑edge generative technology to deliver high‑impact episodic content.

Key responsibilities

• Own and direct 1‑2 vertical mini‑series simultaneously, each comprising 10‑15 short episodes plus trailers.
• Develop scripts with strong hooks, pacing, and cliffhangers tailored for short‑form retention.
• Direct, edit, and finalize episodes end‑to‑end, maintaining creative control over quality.
• Utilise AI production tools and internal copilots for character consistency, casting, and content generation.
• Collaborate with AI specialists, engineers, and creative teams to iterate and improve production efficiency.
• Experiment with AI‑driven video generation workflows to boost speed, quality, and scalability.
• Ensure each series meets performance, engagement, and storytelling benchmarks across platforms.

Required profile

• 4+ years directing, showrunning, or producing short‑form narrative video or serialized digital content.
• Proven storytelling expertise with engaging hooks, episodic tension, and fast‑paced arcs.
• Hands‑on experience in video editing and end‑to‑end content production.
• Familiarity with vertical video formats and digital‑first platforms.
• Exposure to AI video or creative tools and willingness to upskill rapidly.
• Excellent English communication, autonomous work style, and bias toward action.
