Senior DevOps - Cloud Engineer

About the role

Deutsche Börse Group is looking for a proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to lead end‑to‑end DevOps activities across its platform. You will ensure reliable software delivery, drive automation, and maintain system stability in a cloud‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Argo CD.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for containerized applications.
• Deploy and operate workloads on Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes clusters.
• Create and maintain Helm charts for consistent application releases.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability across multiple environments.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Apply security best practices and support DevSecOps initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Argo CD.
• Hands‑on expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
• Solid knowledge of Docker containerization.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell) for automation.
• Experience managing production environments and deployments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability concepts.
• Good problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
