Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & AI Architecture

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our AI team and design, build, and operate a highly scalable AWS cloud platform that powers AI‑driven systems and data pipelines across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, resilient AWS infrastructure for AI and data workloads.
• Architect distributed systems and optimise data pipelines for ML workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Own Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation and drive automation‑first delivery.
• Work with container (Docker, ECS) and serverless (Lambda) architectures.
• Implement strong security controls, IAM governance, and compliance standards.
• Develop disaster‑recovery, high‑availability, and resilience strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with AWS in production.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems design.
• Proven DevOps expertise (CI/CD, automation, IaC).
• Strong Python and Bash scripting abilities.
• Experience with containers (Docker, ECS) and/or serverless (Lambda).
• Solid knowledge of security, IAM, and enterprise cloud best practices.
• Ability to operate at both hands‑on engineering and architectural levels.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
