Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform & SRE

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate a highly reliable, scalable, and secure Azure‑based cloud platform that powers Acuity Intelligent Spaces solutions. The role blends hands‑on DevOps work with Site Reliability Engineering and operational support, ensuring continuous delivery and high availability across our products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native applications.
• Develop automated build, test and deployment frameworks to improve release quality and speed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new features and ensure smooth delivery.
• Support operational readiness with the NOC, respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and maintain runbooks, SLAs and operational standards.
• Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Bicep, and drive automation to reduce manual toil.
• Design, operate and scale Azure infrastructure, manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, and support micro‑services architectures.
• Integrate security testing tools (SAST, SCA, DAST) into pipelines and maintain compliance with SOC 2, ISO and other standards.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in DevOps, SRE or cloud operations, preferably in an industrial or technology environment.
• Strong background in Azure cloud services and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with development, security and operations teams.
