Senior DevOps Engineer – Ireland (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a global team of six engineers. The role is based in Ireland with one week per month on‑site at our Galway office and the remainder remote. You will help define and implement cloud strategies while building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve CI/CD pipelines for multiple squads.
• Standardise DevOps tools and practices across the organisation.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter or Performance Center.
• Collaborate with agile teams to ensure high‑quality, secure deployments on‑prem and in the cloud.
• Provide guidance on cloud strategy and infrastructure automation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑changing environment.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) – preferably certified.
• Jenkins core experience.
• DataDog dashboard development.
• Performance testing tools (JMeter, Performance Center).
• Software configuration management, version control, test/QA automation.
• Programming languages: Java, C#, Scala, PL/SQL.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract for 10 months.
• Daily rate of €350‑€370.
• Hybrid work model – 1 week on‑site, 3 weeks remote.
