Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing team that powers a global point‑of‑sale platform handling millions of daily transactions. You will help shape a secure, highly available cloud infrastructure that enables merchants worldwide to process payments efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing technology stacks and define improvement road‑maps.
• Design, implement and manage ephemeral development environments.
• Operate and scale micro‑services platforms.
• Automate software delivery pipelines using CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain hardware and software platforms.
• Apply agile practices and participate in weekly sprints.
• Architect scalable, fault‑tolerant, distributed systems.
• Define best practices for security, monitoring and telemetry.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of proven DevOps engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of object‑oriented or alternative software design.
• Strong background in automation, cloud‑based micro‑services and cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS).
• Experience with functional and non‑functional testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas to technical and non‑technical audiences.
