Senior Director Analyst – Innovation & Emerging Technologies

About the role

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director Analyst to lead Innovation and Emerging Technologies research within its Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group. The role focuses on digital‑asset platform architecture and helps clients navigate use cases such as cross‑border payments, tokenization, trading, settlement, custody and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Create thought‑leading, high‑impact insight content that addresses client challenges.
• Develop actionable recommendations and new ideas that accelerate client decision‑making.
• Conduct deep analysis to uncover root causes of client barriers and reshape strategies.
• Present insights at Gartner events, conferences and client briefings, both virtually and on‑site.
• Support sales teams by providing market‑voice insights and driving client engagement.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of research processes.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in technology research, advisory or consulting.
• Strong analytical and thought‑leadership capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to engage C‑level clients through virtual and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Track record of publishing influential insights on emerging technology trends.
