Senior Financial Accountant – 12‑Month Contract (Hybrid)

About the role
This is a 12‑month contract position for a Senior Financial Accountant based in Dublin 2, offering a hybrid working model. You will be part of a global life‑sciences business, reporting under both US GAAP and IFRS/local GAAP, and collaborating with finance teams across Europe, North America and the US.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports under US GAAP.
- Execute statutory reporting under IFRS and local GAAP, including reconciliation between frameworks.
- Manage year‑end financial statement audits and support the SOX audit process.
- Assist with corporate tax filings and coordinate with FP&A on accruals and global transfer pricing.
- Present entity performance insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with finance teams in Dublin, Cork, EMEA, Canada and the United States.
Required profile
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Minimum four years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast‑moving, hybrid environment.
