Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

We are partnering with a leading Irish FMCG business to hire a Senior Financial Accountant for their expanding finance team. This role blends strong technical accounting expertise with commercial exposure in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and deliver accurate financial reporting.
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insight.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital optimisation and budgeting cycles.
• Support year‑end audit, statutory compliance and drive finance process improvements.
• Contribute to ERP enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 3–5+ years of post‑qualification experience in management accounting or financial reporting.
• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, manufacturing or distribution is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
