Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python & React)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a leading global technology and data‑driven organisation in Dublin. You will work on cutting‑edge digital products, cloud‑native platforms and AI‑powered solutions within a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full‑stack applications using Python (FastAPI, Flask or Django) and React.
• Build modern APIs, micro‑services and event‑driven services supporting complex business and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews and engineering best practices.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML capabilities, automation tools and intelligent workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality software.
• Drive code quality, security, performance optimisation and maintainability.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and contribute to DevOps and automation practices.
• Mentor team members and promote engineering excellence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend and backend systems.
• Participate in Agile delivery processes and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong full‑stack expertise.
• Proven backend experience in Python using FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Advanced React.js development experience building responsive UIs.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and micro‑services.
• Exposure to AI/ML, LLM integrations or related technologies is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and scalable architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and automation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional, geographically distributed teams.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Irish or EU citizenship.
