Senior Full Stack Engineer (React/Node.js) – Dublin

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a leading retail client in Dublin on a 2‑3 year contract. The role involves building responsive front‑end components and robust back‑end services using modern technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, scalable frontend components using React with seamless API integration.
• Design and implement secure, high‑performance REST APIs using Node.js.
• Build and optimise serverless functions on AWS Lambda with event‑driven architecture.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS services (S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, IAM) ensuring reliability and security.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment using Git and cloud tools.
• Optimize performance, enforce security best practices, and ensure quality through testing and code reviews.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional.
• 2‑3 year contract.
• Hybrid work model (2 days onsite in Dublin).
• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Proficiency in Node.js and backend frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS serverless services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
