Senior Manager, Commercial Marketing & Growth

About the role

The Senior Manager for Commercial Marketing & Growth will shape and execute Ibec’s marketing strategies to drive commercial outcomes, enhance membership value, and raise enterprise visibility. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Brand, the role blends strategic leadership with audience‑centred execution, turning commercial objectives into insight‑driven campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise commercial marketing strategies across programmes, services and membership offerings.
• Translate commercial and membership goals into targeted marketing plans, lead‑generation activities and performance metrics.
• Define positioning, propositions and messaging for key commercial products, events and services.
• Support revenue‑generating teams with tailored tools, collateral and engagement tactics.
• Lead organisation‑wide marketing planning to ensure consistency and audience focus across divisions and sector associations.
• Analyse performance across digital, paid, email, CRM and content channels, providing data‑driven insights for growth.
• Collaborate with Brand, Events, Digital Strategy, External Affairs and Commercial teams to align messaging and maximise impact.
• Manage external agencies and suppliers as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior commercial marketing roles, preferably within membership or association environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive organisational alignment.
