Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the complete rebuild of Nory’s restaurant‑floor mobile app. You will own the architecture, migration plan, and delivery of an MVP within one to two quarters, then evolve it into a platform used by the whole engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the existing app built with Capacitor and React, define a new React Native architecture, and plan the migration.
• Deliver a production‑ready MVP in 1‑2 quarters and iterate to a full platform.
• Ensure the app works reliably on low‑spec phones, patchy connectivity, and in environments where users may speak English as a second language.
• Design and implement a reusable design system and modular UI components in React Native.
• Leverage AI agents to accelerate code generation while maintaining high quality.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineers across the company.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with deep expertise in React Native development.
• Proven ability to own end‑to‑end mobile product delivery, from architecture to production.
• Experience working in cross‑functional squads with high autonomy.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for reliability challenges on constrained devices.
