Senior Onsite Food Safety & Quality Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Onsite Food Safety & Quality Operations Coordinator will ensure that finished products, raw materials, and water are tested in line with PepsiCo specifications. Working in a GMP‑compliant laboratory, the role supports continuous improvement while fostering a positive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely microbiological, raw‑material, and water testing following PepsiCo standards.
• Register QC samples in laboratory management systems and maintain meticulous data entry.
• Prepare production, delivery, and issue samples according to schedule.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure all records are organized for traceability.
• Adhere to safe lab practices, GLP, and PepsiCo health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Manage laboratory supply replenishment and support process operators and product development teams.
• Liaise with manufacturing and R&D during new‑product scale‑up.
• Resolve issues promptly and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a quality‑focused manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding of business fundamentals, cost/quality/service impact.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Effective troubleshooting and workload management skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and take initiative.
