Senior Project Manager – Construction

About the role

Bennett Construction Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high‑density residential and commercial projects, ensuring delivery to the highest quality, on time, within budget, and in line with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to top quality and safety standards.
• Act as the primary liaison between Bennett Construction and clients, providing regular updates.
• Instruct, coach, and direct project staff on construction, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring site personnel meet performance standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operational duties and continuously improve processes.
• Develop progress reports, analyse results, and troubleshoot issues.
• Build and nurture business relationships to support project success.
• Capture lessons learned for continuous staff development.

Required profile

• Degree qualification with at least 10 years of experience at Project Manager level.
• Proven track record delivering high‑density residential or commercial projects.
• Strong ability to analyse and interpret contractual documents.
• Commercial awareness with cost‑control expertise and construction planning experience.
• Technical competence in setting and tracking project milestones.
• Extensive experience leading project teams and managing subcontractors.
• Excellent people‑management, oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using MS Project.
• Familiarity with Powerproject or similar project‑management software.
