Senior Project Manager

About the role

Our leading financial services client in South Dublin is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi‑phase technology and business change programmes. The role will oversee initiatives from concept through to go‑live, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule and quality in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day delivery of Agile IT and business change projects, coordinating internal teams, contractors and external vendors.
• Define, plan and capture requirements, drive testing cycles (SIT and UAT), oversee go‑live and post‑implementation handover.
• Produce structured delivery plans aligned with timelines, financial targets and quality standards.
• Monitor project health, report progress, highlight dependencies and communicate updates to senior stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues, escalating when necessary to maintain confidence.
• Select and adapt delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Lean) to suit each initiative’s scale and complexity.
• Engage stakeholders, align priorities, manage expectations and support change adoption.
• Maintain governance, ensure accurate documentation and coordinate external supplier engagement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering technology and business change programmes across multiple locations.
• Proven track record in Agile environments with successful project outcomes.
• Experience implementing complex, cross‑functional technology solutions, including legacy system integration.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and drive results without close supervision.
