Senior Project Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale business transformation programmes. The role combines project delivery expertise with strong business analysis to drive strategic initiatives across multiple functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of transformation programmes from initiation through implementation and transition to operations.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and governance.
• Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams and third‑party suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings and decision‑making sessions.
• Gather, analyse and document requirements, user stories, process flows and functional specifications.
• Coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance testing, defect management and business sign‑off.
• Provide regular reporting to programme sponsors and senior leadership.
• Support organisational change activities such as communications, training and adoption planning.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and ensure high‑quality project documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years’ experience delivering large‑scale business transformation, change or technology projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex programmes with multiple stakeholders and external vendors.
• Strong business analysis background, including requirements gathering and stakeholder workshops.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
