Senior Project Manager

About the role

Albany Beck is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a banking client’s large‑scale enterprise programme. The role will focus on programme initiation, business case development and high‑level planning for 2026, laying the groundwork for delivery and migration activities in 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Lead programme initiation, planning and governance across multiple workstreams.
• Develop problem statements, scope, business cases and intake documentation.
• Establish reporting, escalation processes and programme governance structures.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and manage senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Create initial programme plans, milestones, dependencies and resource forecasts.
• Perform feature‑gap analysis and support the 2027 roadmap definition.
• Define migration cohorts, approaches, dependencies, risks and required tools.
• Assess multi‑region technology and operational impacts and identify funding requirements.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and delivery blockers.
• Produce clear executive‑level programme updates and ensure documentation is current and properly stored.

Required profile

• 10+ years of programme or project management experience.
• Background in banking or financial services.
• Proven delivery of complex enterprise business and technology programmes.
• Strong expertise in programme initiation, business case development and strategic planning.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams with complex dependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
