Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global technology company that is modernising its payments platform. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will join an Agile engineering team in Dublin, helping to shape quality across a micro‑services based system.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for a modern micro‑services platform.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable test execution.
• Perform functional, API and SQL testing, as well as validation of event‑driven flows using Kafka.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners during refinement, sprint planning and requirement reviews.
• Identify, document and track defects, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required profile

• Strong background in QA, SDET or test engineering, preferably at senior level.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation coding and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Proven ability to design comprehensive test scenarios beyond the happy path.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
