Senior Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our long‑term civil engineering framework in Dublin. This role offers the chance to lead major infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all site activities, overseeing safety, schedule, budget and quality.
• Lead site teams including foremen, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers, allocating labour, plant and materials efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) requirements and company procedures.
• Drive commercial performance by controlling costs, identifying value‑engineering opportunities and maintaining accurate site records.
• Liaise with clients, designers, stakeholders and the wider project team to secure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
• Review technical documentation, drawings and construction methodologies to support efficient execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining productivity, programme targets and quality standards.
• Contribute to project planning, progress reporting and overall delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years post‑graduate experience delivering civil engineering projects.
• Proven experience on rail and/or road infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Design & Build contracts preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project budgets.
• Full EU driving licence.
