Senior Site Manager – Large Residential Apartments Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a large residential apartment development of over 100 units in Cork, Ireland. The role involves overseeing all site activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations for a multi‑phase apartment development.
• Coordinate and supervise all site personnel, subcontractors, and trades.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet key milestones.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Design Team.
• Maintain site records including daily diaries, inductions, and delivery logs.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and workmanship standards.
• Chair site meetings and provide regular progress reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager on large‑scale residential projects.
• Proven track record managing multi‑unit developments (100+ units ideal).
• Excellent knowledge of Irish building regulations and health & safety legislation.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling and relevant site management certifications.
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management or a related discipline (preferred).
