Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our high‑performing engineering team in Dublin. The role focuses on driving reliability, automation and operational excellence across large‑scale enterprise platforms in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own production readiness, reliability and operational excellence for critical platforms and services.
• Partner with development teams throughout the application lifecycle, from design and deployment to ongoing operations and optimisation.
• Drive SRE best practices in monitoring, observability, capacity planning, self‑healing, performance management and deployment automation.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable software promotion across environments.
• Lead incident management, troubleshoot production issues and reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR).
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and blameless post‑mortems to improve platform resilience.
• Review operational metrics and provide feedback on reliability and scalability improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, weekend support and incident response as required.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Support, DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Hands‑on expertise with automation, monitoring and CI/CD tools.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and distributed systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and incident management skills.
• Ability to work independently on critical incidents and production support activities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
